W is for Worship — The Feminine, Uncontained
Worship was never meant to be comfortable.
Not always soft.
Not always gentle.
In the ancient wisdom of the Vedas and the quiet depth of the Upanishads, the feminine is not always named— but she is everywhere.
As energy.
As consciousness.
As presence.
As nurturer

And then—she takes form. In the unapologetic power of Kali, and the vast presence of the Mahavidyas. Across cultures, she appears again and again.
Different names.
Same essence.
But maybe… she was never only in temples.
She is here. In the woman managing a home, a career, expectations—and still questioning if she is doing enough.
In the one who wants to speak up— but pauses, measures her tone, softens her truth.
In the anger she was taught to hide. In the strength she was told is “too much.”
We worship the goddess—but hesitate before we accept the same power in a woman.
Because it is easier to bow before the divine than to recognize it in real life.
The fierce truth of Kali is easier to admire in an idol than in a woman who refuses to shrink.
The vastness of the Mahavidyas is easier to mythologize than to see in a woman who is complex, emotional, powerful— and not always easy to define.
But maybe… that is where worship begins.
Not in rituals.
Not in offerings.
But in recognition.
In allowing women to be whole.
Not just nurturing— but fierce.
Not just soft— but unyielding.
Because the Divine Feminine was never meant to be contained.
She was meant to be lived.
Wrapping up my 3 blog series ……
What we call occult…
what we call shadow…
what we call divine…
has always been within us.
